South Bend Form Tool uses the Double Sided Lapping process to achieve the highest level of control over flatness, thickness and parallelism on a wide variety of materials.
The lapping process is a thermal distortion free process and is suitable for both ferrous and non-ferrous materials, heat treated steels, tool steel, castings, powdered metal die cast shapes, high carbon steel, tungsten carbide, and all materials listed below.
